From my favorite UK Daily the Telegraph comes the big ‘progressive’ news out of Iran.. You have nothing to fear from radical Islam, give them the nukes I say.

Iran has placed a new moratorium on the execution of people by stoning, the country’s judiciary has announced.

At least nine people in the country are believed to be facing the sentence for a range of offences including adultery, prostitution and incest.  The head of the judiciary Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi-Shahroudi first told judges to stop carrying out the penalty in 2002 after pressure from the EU.

Last year, however, a man was stoned to death in western Iran, prompting fears that the punishment would again be regularly carried out. Several other cases of stonings in the past two years were reported but never officially confirmed. The judiciary’s spokesman Alireza Jamshidi said four sentences had been commuted - two will now face long prison sentences and the other two will be flogged.

“In a few other cases, these people have asked for forgiveness and their request … is under review,” he said.

According to Iran’s Islamic legal system, people sentenced to stoning should be half buried before being pelted with stones large enough to hurt, but not large enough to kill immediately.

That’s nice. I’m relieved to see that it was pressure from the EU which has caused the OFFICIAL LEGAL & JUDICIAL SYSTEM IN IRAN to maybe re-consider stoning people to death in 2008, and not any matter of conscience or internal horror, that is very comforting to me. Sounds very humane all in all, half buried so your head is above ground while people throw rocks at you large enough to kill you.. but only very slowly. I’m worried about the stoners though? Will they all be unemployed now and be forced into difficult job retraining, perhaps there might be some openings in flogging? Let’s hope so..

Surgeon General’s Warning: Be careful with that hashish my Iranian friends, Iran is apparently one of the few remaining places where getting stoned can, well.. Get you stoned. Viva Islam!

Our distinguished guest, President Bush is heading out of Israeli control today and the concern in Israel for his safety is palpable. Numerous Gazan groups spurred on by the radical Hamas have called for the assassination of the US President on his visit, the Jerusalem Post reports 3 radical Palestinian groups calling for violence against Bush in the last 24 hours alone.

Violent Demonstrations Expected

Yesterday while Bush was in Tel-Aviv & Jerusalem, violent protests, flag burnings & burnings of Bush in effigy took place in Gaza, and violent demonstrations are expected in the West Bank areas where the President is expected to visit with Abbas & PA officials, who themselves are now equally concerned for his safety.

We are taking these threats very seriously,” a senior PA security official told The Jerusalem Post. “We have taken several precautionary measures to foil any attempt to target Bush or to disrupt his visit.”

Another PA security official accused Hamas of being behind most of the threats against the US leader. “Hamas has turned the Gaza Strip into a safe haven for numerous terrorist groups,” he said. “All these groups are operating there under the auspices of Hamas.” [...]

Some 20 masked gunmen belonging to the Army of the Nation held a press conference in Khan Yunis in which they condemned Bush as the “leader of the infidels” and accused him of “waging war against Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine.” The group vowed to receive Bush with suicide bombers during his visit to the Palestinian territories.

A spokesman for the group who identified himself as Abu al-Hifs denied his men were affiliated with al-Qaida or Fatah al-Islam. “We are all Muslim youth from here,” he said. “Fatah al-Islam and al-Qaida are our brothers. Although we have no ideological difference between us, we don’t belong to them.” [...]

This is combined with the previous Al Qaeda messages, 2 in the past two weeks calling for violence against Israel & Bush. It’s quite dangerous frankly, Israel is not allowed security control in PA autonomous areas, and of course Gaza is really Gazastan now..

The Palestinians have created a cesspool of terrorism & violence, which even now threatens to mar the visit of the man most responsible for trying to fulfil their dream of statehood. Bush is en-route to Ramallah now, please keep him safe.

Michelle Malkin has the goods on the latest Jihad tape released,

it references Annapolis, Abbas and a call for Jihad to ultimately liberate Jerusalem and establish the worldwide caliphate.

Israel’s latest intelligence suggests Al Qaeda is active all around Israel, exploiting Jordan & Egypt primarily as footholds, but that the terror group has not firmly established itself in the Gaza strip as of yet. This seems to be a rallying call to Islamic Jihad, Hamas & assorted scum to get more active. Indeed today Hamas announced it would be stepping up with even more attacks against Israel.

All I can is these guys must have serious cohones. Israel is at the brink, being asked to concede more & more for peace. It is 10000% assured that Israel will act very very forcefully no matter how the process unfolds in order to buttress the message that it prioritizes security above all else, even if negotiations are ongoing.

When Israel is divided for peace & pursuing it, it is without question the most dangerous time to trifle with it, as we tend to react with total fury. Anything else spells the end of our government’s ability to proceed. This is the Mid East, we don’t trifle around like our friends the brits & the yankees - We’ll find these people & kill them in their beds if they play on our court. Then we’ll find where their families live & blow up their houses, honestly.. We could care less what Amnesty says about it - these terrorists don’t hide the fact they seek our total destruction.

Honorable..

Here in Israel it’s too routine to be shocking with our large Arabic / Muslim population.. What you may ask? Well I’m talking about finding a dead young girl, often murdered by her father, or her brother. Sometimes they are murdered by cousins, or even their own mothers or sisters.

A few months ago we found one young woman dead from blunt force trauma, dumped by her family unceremoniously in a shallow ditch. Her brothers / family lured her to the area & murdered her with severe blows to the head. It’s called Honor Killing and it involves the ‘honorable’ murder of a loved one / family member for not wearing the proper head covering, or following strict Islamic edicts in the home. These are not isolated events here, it happens as part of the routine.

Oh Canada! 

Canada with its bend over backwards multiculturalism should take a good long look at Muslim efforts to instill Sharia (Muslim Laws) as an alternative to the regular system of laws we employ in Western nations, lest the dead girls really start piling up..

The Religion of Peace strikes again, this time in Canada where a 16 year old young Pakistani girl has been strangled to the point of hanging on in critical condition, her father called the authorities & told them he’d killed his own daughter, her crime? Refusal to wear head covering in Canada.

Lost your ticket to the big Peace Summit? Didn’t get the VIP invite?.. Don’t fret.

If peace is not your thing, and terror is your name of the game then the Palestinians are organizing just the thing for you, an anti-Annapolis war summit. This way all the terror groups can get on the same page regarding the next ’wave of resistance’.

Notice this summit takes place in EARLY November, because the Palestinians don’t just use terrorism after a move towards peace, they liberally employ it just before such a move too, so they need a few weeks grace ahead of the actual Annapolis Summit in order to properly prep the next big wave of Jew-Murder.

Guess who’s invited? Fatah! Yes looks like Israel’s ‘peace partner’ is being invited to BOTH conferences, pity Arafat is dead.. He’d love that sort of thing.

Palestinian Factions To Hold Conference As Alternative To Annapolis

Islamic Jihad deputy secretary-general Ziyad Al-Nakhaleh has said that the Palestinian factions will, in early November, hold a national conference paralleling the Annapolis Conference, in order to “expose and resist the American plan.”

He said that those invited to the conference, which is to be at a location outside the Palestinian Authority, will include representatives from all the Palestinian factions, including Fatah and independent national figures.

These terrorists are crazy

In early 2006 Israel’s defense & intelligence community was concerned about a new arrival into the Gaza arsenal, longer ranged more lethal soviet Katyusha / Grad rockets. With a range of just under 20 kilometers and more explosive punch these rockets bring Ashkelon and other population centers including their important infrastructure within the target of terrorists.

Since then, few grad type longer ranged katyushas have been launched and their employment has often been a cause for escalation. With tensions so high of late, the terrorists in Gaza must be sporting a serious death-wish to launch these weapons which are sure to draw a sharp response. These are not what the embarrassing international media likes to call ‘crude home made rockets’, these are soviet weapons, like the rockets fired by the thousands at Israel last summer via Hezbollah.

Eight mortar shells and three Qassam rockets landed in the Negev Sunday morning, as residents continued to suffer the brunt of Palestinian munitions fired at the country. Initial reports said four Qassam rockets landed in the area, one not far from Netivot. Hours later, sappers located the rocket’s remains, and transferred them to an explosives lab, which determined the rocket was in fact a Grad-type Katyusha rocket.

The Salah-al-Din Brigades, the armed wing of the Popular Resistance Committees, claimed responsibility for the mortar shell attack, and claimed the rocket that landed near the Netivot cemetery was a new and improved type of mortar shell. The eight mortar shells, which were launched from the northern Gaza Strip, landed in the Eshkol Regional Council kibbutz of Keren Shalom. One of the shells hit a house, causing a fire. Fire fighters rushed to the scene; no one was injured.

“Luckily for us, the kibbutz dwellings are fortified, and the open areas of the kibbutz are also fortified. I really hope something is done to stop the shooting,” said Eli Aharon, deputy head of the Eshkol Regional Council. [...]

• Or both!

It’s a frightening inner view of the veritable fact that rogue terrorist supporting regimes are the world’s worst proliferators, they proliferate weapons to terrorists as illustrated below, and it is not too strong a stretch to imagine the danger of proliferated WMDs as well, hanging like a Sword of Damocles above all our heads.
