I don’t think things are as clear cut as the media makes it seem, there’s plenty of election left. They are hammering McCain & Palin with no end to save Obama’s tuchus. McCain doesn’t want to cancel the debate, he wanted to delay it so that he could do his legislative job as the new leader of the Republican party, that’s not a refusal, on the contrary Obama has refused to debate McCain in a series of townhall debates for a few months now.. So I’m not sure these chips fall the way described.

Yes this bailout certainly looks ugly – I don’t know where my opinion falls, I’m inclined to disagree with a bailout, but this is an internal American economic decision let them figure it out is my instinct - At least McCain is against adding more pork & earmarks to this which is what the Democrats would like.

Obama is clueless, he takes no positions, he just smiles like Alfred E Neuman. I think he’d be a disaster for America as well as Israel.

McCain just lost the election today.  His refusal to debate Obama makes him look like a coward not a statesman.  And what appears to be his support for a bailout that is the antithesis of capitalism and a transfer of money from poor to rich makes me question his intelligence.
Obama is bad for Israel, no question.  But putting your faith in any politician – McCain included – is misguided.  If you want to do something in this world, you can only rely on one person- yourself.
I have every confidence that Israel will do what she has to do regardless of who gets elected (no one living in Israel wants another Holocaust).  I mean if necessary you’d learn how to fly the jet-fighter yourself saus…  Just my 2 cents.
