I feel that oftentimes when the decision is made with an understanding of expectations it can work out for both partners. Can I just add that in Holland the assimilation rate is apparently 70 percent. One of the great benefits of the State of Israel is exactly this: the assimilation rate, due mainly to the majority of jewish people, in Israel, is far, far lower than anywhere else in the world.
