Terrorist claim: Another Israeli kidnapped

UPDATE: Despite some initial skepticism of the accounts (possibly due to ongoing security operations) it appears that a young man has indeed gone missing from Ariel, the largest and a beautiful city in Israel's territories. Eliyahu Ashri, 18 was reported missing by his father.

Euphoric Reality has a fantastic round up of the ever expanding kidnapping crisis concerning Gilad, with updates ongoing. This latest apparent missing Israeli only crystallizes their writings.

Israel at Level Ground where many of my recent sentiments and concerns are being shared, has a frightening look at a possible result and historical parallels concerning the Defense Minister of Israel, who's been getting it double fisted here sadly for good reason.

YNET- Unconfirmed report of settler kidnapping

A spokesperson for the Popular Resistance Committee told Ynet on Monday evening that his group kidnapped a settler in the West Bank.

Mahmoud Abed Alal said he will release more information on the kidnapping later Monday night.

The Israel Defense Forces said it was aware of the announcement but could not confirm that an Israeli citizen has been kidnapped.

Palestinian groups responsible for the abduction of IDF soldier Gilad Shalit demanded Monday that Israel release Palestinian women and children held in Israeli jails in return for information on the kidnapped soldier.

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert ruled out negotiations with Hamas, whose military wing is implicated in Sunday's attack which left two soldiers dead and one kidnapped.

Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh and President Mahmoud Abbas discussed the fate of Shalit during a meeting in the Gaza Strip Monday evening.

They are really cruising for a bruising now. Only an utter moron would attempt another kidnapping. If this is the case and this report is confirmed I fear the worst for these Israeli citizens, as the intention will clearly be murder since negotiation of prisoners has been ruled out, nothing can stop the IDF entering Gaza now.
