Canada terminates PA Aid: Hamas Terrorist Govt sworn in officially

div

Canada’s new conservative Govt. draws a line in the sand, aid to the new Hamas Palestinian Authority has been cut.

My country finally emerges from decades of socialist slumber, becomes the first nation besides Israel to declare officially that we will not tolerate a Terrorist Government in the Territories. Of course, the US stance is equally clear on this matter, I’m expecting the US announcement will follow shortly..

Yahoo News via AP
TORONTO - Canada said Wednesday it was suspending assistance to the Palestinian Authority because the new Hamas-led government refuses to renounce violence and recognize Israel.

It was the first government besides Israel to cut off financial assistance to the Palestinian Authority since Hamas won the legislative elections in January, and other nations were expected to follow suit.

Hamas formally took power Wednesday, with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas swearing in its 24-member Cabinet.

Hamas and new Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh insist they won’t soften the militant group’s violent ideology or formally recognize its longtime nemesis.

Foreign Affairs Minister Peter MacKay said in a statement that Canada had no choice but to suspend assistance and decline any contact with the new Hamas Cabinet.

"The stated platform of this government has not addressed the concerns raised by Canada and others concerning nonviolence, the recognition of Israel, and acceptance of previous agreements and obligations, including the roadmap for peace," MacKay said. "As a result, Canada will have no contact with the members of the Hamas Cabinet and is suspending assistance to the Palestinian Authority."

There’s no Peace without a clear victor in the War

Daniel Pipes finally says what is obvious to any Historian. In order to secure the Peace, you need to first secure the Victory. If not, there’s no reason to make Peace in the first place.

Elections 2006 | Who tossed the Fragmentation Grenade?

div

Election disaster
(Updated
the 31st with the tighter / final seat numbers)

I got a few hours sleep last night, but I was beyond restless. Truth is I’m fretting and I know many Israeli and Jewish bloggers are in the same boat for varying reasons. The cause of my concern is the Israeli electorate and the shambles they have put together, no doubt much in part to the self serving animals known as Israeli politicians. The right failed the right, the left failed the left and the center failed the center. The result is the most fragmented mess of nothingness one could ever imagine, where everyone loses.

Who won? Nobody won, least of all Israel.

Pull up a CAIR, Michelle’s having a BBQ

div

Feel like having Kabobs? Wait.. Are you allowed to say that word!? Kabobs?

If you do CAIR, the "so called" moderate lobby group for Extremist Muslims is being put on a stick courtesy of Investor’s Business Daily.

( H/T ) Michelle Malkin has all the coals.. I feel toasty already!

Between Hamas, CAIR, and all the other lovely moderates, I’m starting to wonder what happened to all the extremists!? When do I get to be a moderate?

For now I guess I will just have to settle for being "a pig and a monkey" depending of course, on which moderate Imam you ask. More importantly do you still get 72 virgins if you’re a moderate? Or does the virgin tally drop some..

"Sorry son, you’re too moderate, only 32 Virgins for you, keep this up and you’ll only be allowed to deflower five or six women in paradise." It’s blasphemy I tell you! Blasphemy! More please.

Elections 2006 | Exit polls show Kadima win, a thin win

div

Initial exit polls have been released..

Keep in mind these are exit polls, not election results. The polls from seperate channels are different by a few seats.

here’s the avg look
Kadima 29-31
Labor 19-22
Big mover Israel at Home 12-14
Likud 10-12

Until final results are in the picture is not fully clear, just two months ago Fatah won the PA elections in exit polls, and today Hamas has approved their terrorist Government! In any case, these results seem to be a poor showing for Kadima & the Likud.

IAI betting on Arrow track record, Congressional nods

Kassam defense tender by IAI & Boeing welcomes new partner, Alliant Tech systems

I looked at this potent duo and their plan to build on the Arrow in order to counter the Kassam threat here.

Globes reports the IAI/Boeing duo are taking things a step further and incorporating Arrow engine makers Alliant. This is all wonderful, and certainly positive.. But I’m left wondering one thing as they vie for the Israeli tender. Kassams are small cheap rockets, the Arrow is a massive expensive rocket. Kassams come in volleys often a dozen or so in just a few days, I sincerely hope Boeing & IAI are scaling their new missile way down and seriously dropping its costs, Raytheon / Rafael need to do the same or this new platform will be a miss even if it can knock a short range missile down with ease!

Globes on the new partner addition

Update: Debka scoop on how the Kassam threat may be scaling.. Newer Iranian Missile threats in the hands of PA Terrorists are ramping up the escalation factor. More Advanced Kassam type missiles have already struck at Ashkelon.

Update II: Rocket fired at Ashkelon confirmed as Katyusha, IDF calling it a serious escalation, vows a "quick harsh" response.

Elections 2006 | Polls closing in about 2 Hours

div

Possibly the most important vote in Israel’s history showing record low turn out

Israelis, constantly rewarded for their efforts towards peace with violence, homicidal maniacs, world wide scorn, and now a new Hamas terrorist entity appear somewhat demoralized by the burden of their Palestinian friends. Sick and tired and running out of patience in the Middle East usually means only one thing.. There’s likely some serious violence coming. Kadima, Labor, Likud, any way you slice this pie the Peace Process is long dead, today it gets buried.

Mossad legend Meir Amit sees Global Jihad as WWIII

div

 Global Jihad

The revolution,
will not be televised.

Aaron Klein over at Joe Farah’s Worldnet Daily interviewed the former chief super spy and Mossad legend Meir Amit. Amit sees a concerted effort by Islamists to impose Muslim laws and Ideals on the masses..

"We are on the eve of war with the Islamic world, which will wage a war and all kinds of actions and attacks against the Western world. We already noticed the terrorists in the world hit Spain, England, France. I call it World War III. You must look at it from this angle and treat it wider, not as a problem of terrorism here and there," said Amit, speaking during an exclusive interview with WND’s Aaron Klein and ABC Radio’s John Batchelor broadcast on Batchelor’s national program, for which Klein serves as a co-host.

Here’s a link to the audio interview
And the Worldnet article

Where’s Chirac? There’s only one way to counter this threat.. We must sell reactors to everyone and proliferate the nuclear weapons, that way the playing field is equal. I appease, therefore I am
